Meet: Anne Harmon Grout, MSPT

Anne grew up in Florida and is an avid Florida Gator fan. She moved to the Seattle area in 1994 after many years of visiting relatives in the Pacific Northwest. Anne has been involved with sports from an early age including competitive gymnastics and nationally competitive cheerleading.  She has been taking open ballet classes at Pacific NW Ballet since 1994. Anne enjoys running, day hikes, tennis, and time at the beach. She also enjoys spending time with her husband and two children who are involved in numerous youth athletics such as soccer, basketball, and baseball.

Anne specializes in orthopedic, sports, and dance physical therapy. She has taken numerous continuing education courses in manual therapy techniques, functional multi-plane exercise, biomechanics, dance medicine, and sports rehabilitation. She also participates in the Seattle Pediatric Sports Medicine Interest Group. As a former teacher, Anne believes in educating her patients and involving them in their own plan of care as well as helping them to understand the importance of injury prevention for long term success.
