The staff at Quality Care Physical Therapy include board certified Doctors of Physical Therapy (DPT), Master of Science in Physical Therapy (MSPT), Orthopedic Physical Therapist (OCS), and Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC).
Meet: Dr. John P Monahan PT, DPT

Quality Care Physical Therapy, Inc. was founded by Dr. John P. Monahan, PT, DPT in September 2001. Dr. Monahan is a native of Bothell, Washington, and graduated from Bothell High School in 1988.
Dr. Monahan was initially influenced by his parents, who are both in the medical profession. His mother, a registered nurse on the orthopedic floor at Virginia Mason Hospital in Seattle, and his father, a family practice physician who has practiced for over 40 years in Bothell. While traveling through Europe, Dr. Monahan met a Danish physical therapist who inspired him to follow his profession.
Dr. Monahan says, "I grew up in a healing, altruistic, compassionate environment. I spent my childhood going on various house calls with my father, learning how to care for people in need. My parents are truly a gift to me that I will always be thankful for."
Education:
Washington State University, where he graduated in 1994 with a Bachelor's degree in Biology, with a Minor in Psychology.
Finch University of Health Sciences/Chicago Medical School, where he graduated in 1997 with a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy.
Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science, where he graduated in 2006 with a post-professional Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy to make his second Physical Therapy degree.
Dr. Monahan authored a chapter in the text book: 
Therapeutic Exercise: Moving Toward Function, Second Edition in 2004. Dr. Monahan gained an expanded knowledge in physical therapy research and techniques in writing this chapter over an 18 month process.
Dr. Monahan is committed to lifelong learning. "The more I know, the better I can help my patients. The human body is the world's most complex machine." This commitment to continued education will provide quality care and excellence to each of his patients.
When not providing quality care to his patients, he can be found enjoying spending time with his new wife and kids and many outdoor sports, including golf, tennis, skiing, fly fishing, scuba diving, and hiking.
Meet: Anna Harness, MSPT

Anna is a native of western Washington and grew up in Olympia. Anna was influenced by her participation and interest in sports at an early age. In college, Anna competed on the varsity crew and ski team. Anna has worked in orthopedic outpatient clinics since 1994. She specializes in sports and orthopedic rehabilitation, spine therapy, SI joint dysfunction, manual therapy techniques, muscle activation and biomechanics.
Education:
Pacific Lutheran University: Bachelor of Science in Physical Education with a Biology and Health minor (1990)
Columbia University: Master's degree in Physical Therapy (1994)
Anna has been working at Quality Care Physical Therapy since January 2005. John and Anna have worked together at two other clinics over the past thirteen years. Anna is married and spends her days off with her two children. She is also on a competitive master's rowing team in Seattle. Anna has won multiple gold medals on a national and world level of competition. In her free time she enjoys skiing, mountain biking, jogging, scuba diving, and reading.
Meet: Kevin Piasecki, MSPT, OCS
Kevin grew up in Connecticut, moved to New York City in 1992, and then relocated to Seattle in 1999. He has been practicing Physical Therapy since 1994.

Kevin recently joined Quality Care Physical Therapy after working in West Seattle for the past 8 years. Kevin has experience treating all types of musculoskeletal problems. His approach to rehabilitation is a combination of hands-on treatment and exercise, with a particular focus on biomechanics, posture, core stability, patient education, and home exercise prescription.
Kevin looks forward to helping his patients become pain-free and maximize their health and fitness potentials. "With good guidance and a good amount of effort, anyone can improve his/her strength and posture. Physical Therapy can often help us to find relief from the many things that cause us to have pain,. Feeling good and being fit are important keys to achieving our goals and enjoying our lives."
On the weekends, Kevin and his wife enjoy hiking, camping, rock climbing, mountaineering, and snowsports. Kevin's interest in teaching is not only evident when he works with his clients, but carries beyond the clinic as well; he volunteers his time to help teach rock climbing courses with the Mountaineers.
Meet: Ona Treciokas, PT

Ona spent her childhood years in Germany and Virginia. She graduated from High School in Fairfax, Virginia. She decided to study Physical Therapy after watching her brother go through rehabilitation for a knee surgery and while training for a marathon, she realized no one in her group had any idea how to care for themselves after an injury. This inspired her to study physical therapy to educate and heal those who were in need.
Education:
University of Puget Sound: Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy (1983)
Ona has been practicing Physical Therapy since 1983 and works at Virginia Mason Seattle outpatient clinic as well as at Quality Care Physical Therapy, Inc. She spends about 50% of her time at Virginia Mason working in the Spine Clinic and the remainder in the Outpatient orthopedic clinic working with a variety of patients with special interests in injury prevention, geriatrics and surface EMG. She has extensive experience in work station assessments, job analysis as well as orthopedic evaluation and treatment.
Ona is very active with her husband and two teenage boys. She spends much time supporting her boys' athletic and musical interests and finds time to row on a nationally competitive team. She enjoys skate skiing, hiking, backpacking and any outdoor activities.
Meet: Dan Newell, ATC, AT/L, CSCS
Dan is the newest addition to Quality Care Physical Therapy. Dan gre up in McCleary, WA, just west of Olypmia and enjoys continuing to be around the "small"town atmosphere of Bothell. He is the Athletic Trainer at Bothell High School and is enjoying his fifth year there.
Dan also develps and runs sports performance camps for teams in the surrounding area and works with individuals and small groups in developing and expanding their athletic abilities and teaching individuals the desire and dedication to work hard and achieve their goals. When not working, Dan enjoys spending quality time with his wife, Mindy, of nine years. They enjoying relaxing around the house with their Pug, Brooklyn, and also going to and watching movies, spending time at the beach and seeing their families. Dan is also an avid mountain biker throughut the summer.

Meet: Mogul
Mogul, a 7 year old cocker spaniel, is our official "meet and greeter". Other than Dr. Monahan, he's the longest working employee of Quality Care Physical Therapy and one of the company's greatest assets! He repertoire of tricks are "roll over", "shake", "sit", "commando crawl" and "Who's Here!".
